ICAC Technical Briefing Program

 

ICAC provides non-commercial briefings on control technologies to state regulators at no cost. Our briefers are technical experts on the various technologies, and each briefings is tailored to the specific audience.

Some of our recent briefings have included:

To the Maryland Department of the Environment: Hg controls, SO2 controls, NOx controls
To the Illinois EPA: NOx controls; VOC controls; continuous emissions monitoring
To OTAG: NOx controls
To the Arizona DEQ: continuous emissions monitoring
To the Wisconsin DNR: VOC controls
To the Michigan DNR: VOC controls
To MARAMA: VOC controls and portable emission monitors

Environmental Technology Associations Outside the U.S.

Australia
Air Pollution Control Equipment Manufacturers Association (APCEMA)
APCEMA of Australia is the national body representing the interests of companies involved in the dust and fume control industry. APCEMA was formed in 1987 to provide a technical expertise resource for governments and industry, and to enhance the skills of designers, users and specifiers of air pollution control equipment.

Canada
Canadian Environment Industry Association (CEIA)
CEIA is the national voice of 1,500 companies in the Canadian environment industry. Founded in 1988, CEIA's business functions focus on federal government relations and advocacy, and export trade promotion.

United Kingdom
Environmental Industries Commission (EIC)
EIC is an association of over 200 environmental technology equipment and services suppliers thatworks to promote constructive cooperation between the regulated, the regulators, and the UK's environmental technology suppliers who serve them.
