ICAC recommends that each Technology
Showcase participant use a single poster board or tri-fold board that
describes your technology. Please keep in mind the following:
A poster presentation is an effective way to
communicate; however, keep it simple and direct. Use short phrases and/or
"bulleted” text with a poster. Avoid long, narrative paragraphs.
Limit the amount of text on the poster and supplement
it with a handout.
Be sure to clearly identify the name of your company.
It is strongly recommended that each
Technology Showcase participant provide a handout about the technology being
highlighting. A handout can include more detail than will fit on the
poster, and people can read a handout at their leisure. Be sure to provide
a contact person so Congressional staff members know who to reach out to if
more information is need about the technology.
SIZE OF POSTERS/DISPLAYS
Each Technology Showcase poster
board will be limited to what will fit on a six (6) foot table or easel.
SET-UP AND TEAR-DOWN TIMES
ICAC staff will deliver all posters to
Capitol Hill on Tuesday, January 21st prior to the Congressional Staff Briefing
All table top posters must be removed
by the participants from the exhibit floor by 3:30pm on January 22nd.
