2014 Technology Showcase

ICAC 2014 Technology Showcase on the Hill will provide congressional staff the opportunity to meet industry leaders from companies supplying air pollution monitoring and control systems, equipment and services for stationary sources in the United States.

This is an exclusive opportunity for members of ICAC only
. There are no additional fees to participate in the Technology Showcase if you have registered for the 2014 Legislative Conference. 

Through the display of your companies technology summarized on a poster, congressional staff will learn about new, innovative and emerging technologies developed to address clean air policies based on practical, achievable and measurable emissions limitations.

ICAC 2014 Technology Showcase on Capitol Hill will feature:

  • Current and emerging air pollution monitoring and control systems technology
  • Expert air pollution monitoring and control system leaders to explain the technology
  • Tangible, achievable and measurable innovations on display
  • Industry leaders interested in investing and in creating jobs in the air pollution control industry

ICAC recommends that each Technology Showcase participant use a single poster board or tri-fold board that describes your technology.  Please keep in mind the following:
A poster presentation is an effective way to communicate; however, keep it simple and direct. Use short phrases and/or "bulleted” text with a poster. Avoid long, narrative paragraphs.
Limit the amount of text on the poster and supplement it with a handout. 
Be sure to clearly identify the name of your company.


It is strongly recommended that each Technology Showcase participant provide a handout about the technology being highlighting.  A handout can include more detail than will fit on the poster, and people can read a handout at their leisure.  Be sure to provide a contact person so Congressional staff members know who to reach out to if more information is need about the technology. 


Each Technology Showcase poster board will be limited to what will fit on a six (6) foot table or easel.


ICAC staff will deliver all posters to Capitol Hill on Tuesday, January 21st prior to the Congressional Staff Briefing and lunch. 

All table top posters must be removed by the participants from the exhibit floor by 3:30pm on January 22nd.  If any poster items remain after this time they will be discarded.
